About time I posted some colour imagery. Im almost black and whited out ! Some shots taken during Paris Fashion Week at the Raf Simons aw10 show, and from the video loop in the RAF Paris show room. Always love photographs of pictures on television, the grainy/unfocused quality has a mystic that appeals to me.

I know I seem to have posted a few things relating to Sang Bleu’s latest issue but its a project I love. These are images I just got back from the delivery day, my Leica and I seem to be getting along, I love these images. 500 copies we carried up 4 flights of stairs ! Blood sweat and tears went into this post!

Last month I was fortunate enough to get to meet and shoot Omar Kashoura down at his showroom. We had a fun afternoon on the street shooting his portrait for oki-ni’s ‘New Faces of Menswear’ feature, Omar was a great subject and I am really pleased with how the portraits look. Omar is a real face to watch, his collection will be dropping on oki-ni this season and after seeing his beautiful presentation during MAN at London Fashion Week I’m confident he’ll go from strength to strength.

After an inpatient wait Sang Bleu 5 finally landed in the UK on Wednesday. I went to meet the 400 copies coming off the lorry at my good friend and one of the Sang Bleu Editor’s Adrian Wilson’s place. Carrying 400 copies up 5 flights of stairs was well worth the effort as the issue is as beautiful as anticipated. I am extremely pleased to have some portraits of John Skelton in the issue to accompany the article ‘Open All Hours’ and highly recommend you all have a copy on your shelves.

Congratulations to my good friend Neil Bedford after being awarded a distinction in his MA Fashion Photography course at the London College of Fashion for his project on Bradford City Football Club, Fourteen Fifty Nine. Whilst I was in Paris for the SS10 men’s shows I was fortunate enough to independently meet and shoot Rick Owens and his Wife Michele Lamy. For me, shooting portraits of interesting people inspires me and to be able to shoot such amazing individuals was a a great experience. I shot Michele at the Rick Owens SS10 show and met and shot Rick Owens at his Parisian showroom. Mr Owens expressed his distaste towards digital media and the internet especially where featuring himself, he seemed to like the fact that I was shooting on traditional film and would hopefully be ok about me digitizing him and his wife for the purposes of my blog!
