DAMIR DOMA ARCHIVE - PREVIEW VIDEO 1

I have been working a lot with video recently and really enjoying it. I bought a camera about 4 years ago now and although its really out of date and my software is really shitty, it kind of adds to my rough and ready style. This was a preview video I did whilst shooting Damir Doma’s archive last week, the shoot went relly well and the shots look awesome (post to follow when permission is granted). Thanks to Charlotte for her filming, styled by John Skelton, model Nathan Kent @Nevs.

GETME! AND DOBEDO PRESENT ‘REELY AND TRULY’ 0

'Open Wide' by Phoebe Collings-James

I have been an admirer of the site dobedo for a while now, its was set up and is run by a friend and fellow/brilliant photographer Tyrone LeBon. The site is a must it feels so genuine and concidered from guest blogs to exclusive products and projects, its a reely interesting surf every time you log on! In the early ’80s renowned photographer Mark Lebon launched ‘Reely’, a long running and influential London film night and club. Mark is Tyrones Father and has had a great deal of influence on my carreer and life in London, GETME! and DoBeDo have brought this infamous night back to life and last night I got chance to go to the second ‘Reely and Truly’. The night was held in Notting Hill Arts Club and showcased works by Tyrone, Mark, the late great James LeBon, Tim+Barry, Balthazar Klarwein and Tim Craig to name a few. What a brilliant mix of original, unique and inspirational shorts that have given me loads of thoughts for some video projects Im working on. I was also lucky enough to recieve a hand numbered 26/50 programme which included an autograph space and a beetroot soup recipee ! Thanks Tyrone and keep up the good work.

It has been far too long since I posted and I have missed it a lot ! Things sometimes just get ahead of you and before you know it a month has passed ! Ive been mega busy and I also shot my first wedding last weekend….films are being processed at the moment so fingers crossed on those, post to follow ! Thought that I would put up some random images I recently recieved back from the lab, all of which were shot on Leica CM which I still havent quite figured out yet, although I do very much like this selection it produced. They show Dan Mitchell (4+5) the www.oki-ni.com model, an interesting lady at London fashion week, Daisuke Kawai and his collegue from the Japanese blog, 2ND-BLOG-CAFE ( http://kura-tv.no-blog.jp/ ) Charlotte from oki-ni who i am co-collaborating on a few exciting projects with and last but not least my girlfriend Leanne who you may recognise from an earlier post! More to come soon…..
