London Fashion Week Catwalk

Yesterday I was lucky enough to head down to London Fashion Week for the menswear shows at Sommerset house. It was my first catwalk experience and I really enjoyed the huge production and buzz of the event. We saw shows by Carolyn Massey, James Long, Lou Dalton, Satyen Kumar and the MAN show which included Christopher Shannon, JW Anderson and Katie Eary. I also got to see my friends Martine Rose and Charlie from Caseley-Hayford and Mr.Hare in the Fashion East Menswear Installations which looked awesome, really nice to see such nice people getting their breaks. All in all a brilliant day, I did shoot some films on my Leica so I may post more images when they have been processed.

Last night I shot my first catwalk show for London Fashion Week. The show was by JC/DC Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s difusion line, a great show at Ghost, Farringdon which was a cool venue.

Im not usually a huge fan of extreme sports but my brother Charles is, for his birthday I took him down to Battersea Power staton for the final leg of the Red Bull X-Fighters world tour. I shot a film on my lomo that I got a few months back from Ilford (Iford Process & Prints) , it came with a prepaid developing feature, so all you do is shoot the film, bag it up, send it off and 5 days later a box of beautiful prints are your negatives are delivered. I strongly recommend this brilliant service, the quality of the prints is second to non, absolutely brilliant. The shots came out really well, this camera seems to continue suprising me in all conditions. We had a brilliant night, the things those guys can do is unbelievable, a buzzing atmosphere as well. Happy Birthday Charlie !

As you may have noticed this is my first post in too long ! Ive been itching to post but havent had the material and have just come back from a week in the sun! Before I left I bought myself an early birthday present, the Leica CM ! an absolutley beautiful point and shoot 35 mm by the worlds most beautiful camera manufacturers, its a thing of beauty to both look at and use, this is my first Leica but as soon as you pick it up and use it you know that this camera will be with you for a lifetime and that is the feeling that persuaded me in the store.I put the first few rolls through it whilst we were away and here are some of the completely untouched results, really like the colours and cant wait to shoot a lot more. Since I got my Lomo LCA+ I have fallen back in love with the 35mm format and now with the Leica added to my bag I feel my 35mm game is complete. I am awaiting a film from Ilford taken on the LCA+ so keep your eyes peeled.
